750 Knitting Stitches: Intro to the Series

A while back I purchased this book by St. Martin's Griffin from the Knit Picks website. I have used it on occasion to help me come up with the perfect stitch for a blanket or scarf. I have yet to actually try all of the 750 stitches available to learn in this book.

The book itself is divided into sections. The first section of the book is an introductory to knitting including: Tools and equipment, Starting up, How to Read Charts and Abbreviations.

The next sections are different types of stitch patterns.

These sections are :

1. Knit and Purl Stitches

2. Cable and Aran Stitches

3. Lace and Eyelet Stitches

4. Colourwork Stitches

5. Edging and Trims

I will start at the beginning and work my way through the ENTIRE book. Yes, it will take a long time to complete and it would be one hell of a long post if I did it all at once. That is why I will be posting them 10 at a time. If you want to try any of these out but are struggling with how to understand the abbreviations, visit my earlier post called: How to Read a Knitting Pattern.

*Also, if I find errors in any of the patterns, I will post them along with any revisions.*
